MC boys and girls fall at the hands of tough Cedar Cliff teams

It was a tough night for both the MIfflin County Girls and Boys teams as they both fell to Cedar Cliff.

The girls fell 65-42.

Leading the way for MIfflin County offensively was Marissa Gingrich who netted 15.

Teammate Kate Knable rounded out the double-digit scorers with 12.

In JV action, Cedar Cliff defeated the Huskies 32-28.

Amelia Leister was the high scorer for the Lady Huskies with 10.

The varsity team is now 2-2 on the season (1-1 in Mid-Penn Keystone league action.

They will host Lower Dauphin on Monday at 7:00 pm.

On the boys’ side the Huskies Boys fell at home to Cedar Cliff 73-48.

Conner Zimmerman led the scoring for MIfflin County with a team-high 15.

Cade Penepacker was next on the scoring sheet with a 12-point effort.

The Huskies are now 1-2 on the season and 0-2 in Mid-Penn Keystone action and will travel to Lower Dauphin on Monday for a 7:00 pm tip-off.
