MC boys punch their ticket to D6 postseason, tops Altoona

The Huskies got a statement win on the road tonight, defeating Altoona 62-33 to clinch their spot in the District Playoffs.

It was a total team effort from everyone involved, and an impressive defensive effort in the second half was the difference, only allowing 10 points in the final 16 minutes.
Sophomore Jack Curry led the way with a game high 20 points. Junior Josh Hartzler was also in double figures with 16.
The win moves the boys to 9-12 overall, and they close out the regular season tomorrow night when they travel to Midd-West. JV’s start at 6with Varsity to follow.
