The Mifflin County Boys’ Cross Country came up short in Mid-Penn double dual action falling to State College 15-45 and Central Dauphin 25-31.  State College beat CD 23-38.
TJ Roden from CD won the 5000 meter contest in 16:04.  State College’s Nick Sloff was second in 16:18.
For MC, Conrad Coffey finished 9th (17:54), Caden Bell 16th (18:14), Cody Fultz 17th (18:17), Styers Oden 20th (18:23), Hart Oden 28 (19:18), Luke Breneman 30 ((19:27), Reese Cubbison 32 (19:36), Maxwell Laudermilch 41 (20:12), Cameron Barben 43 (20:16), Nathan Goss 74 (28:45).
State College is loaded again this year. We are working at getting into their back kids and made some progress with that.
“We knew CD had two fast kids up front and was solid in the middle but thought we could beat them in the back,” said MIfflin County coach Gregory Loht. “ We got into a hole up front and lost the match ups in the middle. Our back group ran well and pulled us close but their lead was too much to change the outcome.”
Mifflin County falls to 1-3 in the Mid Penn.  The Huskies next race at the Carlisle Invitational on Saturday.
