MC field hockey falls in road contest against Selinsgrove

The Mifflin County Field Hockey team traveled to Selinsgrove for a night game against the Seals.

The first two quarters were intense and thrilling as the Huskies and Seals fought for a goal. Both teams earned penalty corners and shots on goal, but were unlucky on scoring. At halftime the game was still scoreless.

In the third quarter, the battle still remained strong between the two teams. Allison Renninger helped her team out by saving a ball and earning a defensive save. The third quarter remained scoreless up until the last seconds on the third quarter when the Seals snuck a goal in.

During the fourth quarter the Huskies fought to make a comeback. They had some close chances on scoring but remained unsuccessful.

JV lost 4-3. Regan Kenepp scored 2 goals and Adalyn Amspacker scored 1.
