MC field hockey shuts out Chambersburg
A defensive gem.
MIfflin County’s defense was clutch under pressure all night as the Husky field hockey team shut out Chambersburg, 3-0 in Mid-Penn action.
Monica Druckemiller picked up MIfflin County’s first goal. She would score on an unassisted goal at 13:09 in the 1st quarter.
Lyza Underhill followed with the Huskies second goal as she caught a pass from Adria Hartzler with just 1:27 left in the first.
Hailee Sheetz rounded out the s or if with an unassisted 2nd quarter goal.
Mifflin County goalie Sophie McCurdy finished with six saves.
In JV action, the MC JV’s also won 3-0.
Picking up goals for MIfflin County were Tai Ematat, Lyza Underhill and Bailey Neff.
