MC girls fall in OT to Waynesboro; Boys shut out
It was a tough night for the MIfflin County soccer teams as the Lady Huskies fell 1-0 and the boys were defeated 6-0 by Waynesboro.
On the girls side, the Huskies battled through almost three haves before Waynesboro scored on a Nora Dickey unassisted goal 49 seconds into Overtime at 80:49.
MIfflin County outshot Waynesboro 8-5 while it was shut out off corner kicks by a 4-0 margin.
Waynesboro keeper Kiaya Mouer scooped up eight saves while MC’s Bailey McNitt had four.
MC fell to 1-3-0 in Mid-Penn action and 1-4-0 overall.
MIfflin County’s next game Tuesday at Lower Dauphin.
