MC girls lose tough Saturday contest against State College

STATE COLLEGE – The State College girls basketball team hosted rival Mifflin County in a Saturday showdown.

Posting a strong 18-11 first quarter score, the Lady Little Lions continued to hold onto the lead after that, posting a 68-29 victory.

State College was led by Sienna Wilson with a game-high 16 points.

Teammates Sheree Wilson, Jess Hawbaker and Deseray Mobley all scored 12 in the victory.

Mifflin County’s Mackenzie Peachey led the Huskies with seven points.
