MC girls rebound to 3-1 win over CD East

The Mifflin County girls soccer team bounced back in a big way from its loss yesterday to defeat Mid -Penn opponent CD East 3-1 Tuesday night at the Mifflin County soccer complex.
McKenna Smith led the Mifflin County surge with two goals each.
Tori Moon got the scoring started as she picked up a pass from McKenna Smith at the 37-minute and put the Huskies up, 1-0.
At the 44-minute mark McKenna Smith scored her first of the game via a penalty kick, upping the lead to 2-0.
Two-minutes later Smith thanks to an assist from Jessica Bickhart added an insurance goal at the 46-minute mark.
CD East got its only goal on an Erryn Riley unassisted goal at 73-minute mark, ending the scoring at 3-1.
Mifflin County led in shots on goal by a 15-5 margin.

Mifflin County’s goalie 4, Allyssa Schnell scooped up four saves on the day while
CD East goalie Sierra Harris had 12.
The Huskies led in corner opportunities 5-0.
MC’s Record is 3-9 overall and 2-5 in the league.
