MC golf falls in a close non league battle with Bellefonte

MC golf was back in action today at Lewistown Country Club in a non conference match against Bellefonte. MC and Bellefonte play a different style of match each year. Instead of normal stroke play, we play match play. There were nine points up for grabs in the match, and Bellefonte came out on top, winning 5-4. The loss on the day now puts MC at 30-4 overall, and 27-3 in Mid Penn conference play.
MC was lead on the day by Tanner Ferguson earning 1 point. Bryson Bubb earned 1 point, Alex Kline, Owen Wise and Bradyn Eversole earned 1/2 point each. The team of Ferguson and Kline also earned 1/2 point to account for MC’s 4 points. Mifflin County is back in action tomorrow at Palmyra in a Mid Penn Keystone Division match.
