MC golf takes fourth at Valley Green

The Mifflin County golf team competed today at Valley Green Golf Club, and finished in 4th place on the day. MC was lead by Blake Stringfellow with an 81, Dominic Weyman with an 84, Bryson Bubb with an 85, and Jaron Yoder contributed with an 87. Jackson Flood also shot 87, and Ryan Hine and Colby Seiler each shot 89. This is the first time since I’ve been coach, that all seven golfers shot in the 80’s. The team score of  337, is also our second lowest of the season. MC lost to Mechanicsburg, Red Land, and Palmyra. MC beat Carlisle, Bishop McDevitt, and Cedar Cliff. By going 3-3 on the day, it now brings the overall record to 12-6, and 12-6 in the mid penn. MC is back in action on Monday at Lewistown Country Club hosting East Juniata, Newport, and Millersburg in a non conference match.
