MC golfer advance in D6 AAA championships

The Mifflin County Golf team competed today at sinking valley country club for the District 6 AAA sectional tournament. The Huskies finished 4th on the day as a team. Jackson Flood led MC with an 81, which placed tied for 7th place, and earned him a spot in the District 6 AAA Championships on Tuesday 10/1.

Colby Seiler fired an 83, which placed 11th overall, and missed advancing by one shot. Rounding out the scoring for MC was Jacob Bauman and Jace Rishel who both shot 88.

The team golf season came to an end today, but Mifflin County still has a few individuals advancing on in postseason play.

Evan Breon is in the Mid Penn Qualifier tournament tomorrow at Manada golf course.

Jackson Flood is in the District 6 AAA Championships on 10/1 at Scotch Valley Country Club.

Jackson Flood and Colby Seiler are both in the Mid Penn Championships on 10/2 at Dauphin Highlands.
