MC golfers battled Altoona, falls 317-337

The Mifflin County golf team competed today against Altoona in a non conference match. Altoona got the best of MC today, in tough rainy conditions, 317-337.

The Huskies were lead on the day by Colby Seiler who shot a 79, which was good for 2nd place overall. Jackson Flood fired an 83, Jacob Bauman had an 86, and Evan Breon rounded out the scoring with an 89. With the loss today, MC closed out the regular season at a record of 33-13. Mifflin County is back in action on Tuesday, 9/24, at the District 6 AAA sectional tournament at Sinking Valley.

The Huskies girls were also in action today at Manada golf course in Grantville. MC was lead on the day by Lily Breon who shot a 107, which placed 25th overall. Emma Norman fired a solid 109, which placed 26th overall. This marked the end of the season for both Lily and Emma.
