Mc golfers finish third in Mid-Penn season opener

LEWISTOWN -The Mifflin County golf opened their season today by hosting a Mid Penn Keystone Division match at LCC. Mifflin County finished 3rd on the day. Mifflin County beat, Carlisle, Palmyra, Bishop McDevitt, and Cedar Cliff, and lost to Mechanicsburg and Red Land. MC is now 4-2 on the season overall, and 4-2 in the mid penn. MC was lead on the day by Blake Stringfellow, Bryson Bubb, and Colby Seiler who all shot 85. Dominic Weyman fired an 89, and Jackson Flood had a 91. MC is back in action on Thursday at Colonial CC, the home of Bishop Mcdevitt.

Mechanicsburg – 339: 6-0

Red Land – 342 – 5-1

Mifflin County – 350 – 4-2

Carlisle – 360 – 3-3

Palmyra – 364 – 2-4

Bishop McDevitt – 375 – 1-5

Cedar Cliff – 430 – 0-6
