MC golfers have perfect day on the links

The Mifflin County Golf hosted East Juniata and Newport today at Lewistown County Club in a non-league match. The Huskies went 2-0 on the day shooting a season low team total of 328, which is also the lowest score MC has shot in a match in 12 years.

Mifflin County was lead on the day by Colby Seiler who shot a 79, which was good for 1st place overall in the match.

Jackson Flood shot an 81 which was good for 2nd place overall.

Evan Breon continued his great play with an 83, which good for 3rd place overall, and Jacob Bauman rounded out the scoring with a season low of 85, which was good for 4th place overall.

East Juniata was lead by Tayden Miller who shot an 88 and Wyatt Weges shot a 93. Newport was lead by Nate Stuck who fired a 93.

By going 2-0 on the day, The Huskies now stand at 18-8 overall on the season.

Mifflin County is back in action on Wednesday, September 4, when they travel to Carlisle War Barricks Golf Course for a Mid-Penn Keystone division match.
