MC Jh girls shut out Shippensburg 10-0

It was a high flying afternoon for the Mifflin County Jr High Varsity team as it blanked Shippensburg 10-0 on the road.
Aubrey Strohecker finished the day with a hat trick in a four goal game. Teammate Maddie Finkenbiner had two goals and an assist in the shut out.
Mifflin County finished with 19 shots on goal.
In the save department, Bailey McNitt secures two.
The list of goals are a long one.
Strohecker got the scoring started as he was assisted by Finkenbiner.
Finkenbiner then got in the act next as she was assisted by Ella Kammerer.
Finkenbiner with an assist by Kylee Cubbison put her up to goal number two.
Strohecker followed with two consecutive unassisted goals.
Ella Kammerer then got into the act as she tickled the twine as she was assisted by Kylie Strawser.
Then Sarah Henry was assisted by Strohecker on her first goal of the night.
Strohecker got her name back in the scoring column on another unassisted goal, making it a comfortable 8-0.

Rounding out the scorers was Lily Yoder as she was assisted by Kate Knable for the final goal.
Shippensburg only managed two shots and had 11 saves.
In the Jr High JV game, the two teams finished with the same score they started with as Mifflin County and Shippensburg finished in a scoreless battle.
Mifflin County had three shots.
Sadie Fike and Maddie Finkenbiner combined for three saves.
