MC junior high Volleyball battled Cumberland Valley

Mifflin County Jr High Volleyball team traveled to Cumberland Valley Monday evening.

The 7^th grade team battled in a tightly contested three set match, winning the first set 26-24 before falling 19-25 in the second and 15-17 in the third. Addyson Marks led the defensive effort for the Huskies with nine digs. Mackenzie Resto tallied a team high seven kills with Grayce Napikoski following with five of her own. Olivia Bedlyon led the team with six aces while Addyson chipped in four of her own.

The 8^th grade team lost 14-25 in both sets to a talented Cumberland Valley team. Jayda Thomas added two aces and Emma Hartzler contributed two kills in the effort.

Mifflin County hosts Harrisburg for their home opener on Wednesday, 3/26 at Mifflin County High School. 7^th grade is set to start at 4pm with 8^th to follow at 5pm.
