MC Lady Huskies fall in PIAAs 7-4

The season quietly came to an end Monday for the MIfflin County Huskies in PIAA state softball action, losing 7-4.

It was a magical season for the Lady Huskies as they captured a District 6 title and won their first round game of state action.

In Monday’s game against Canon-McMillan, MIfflin County fell behind early 3-0. The Huskies made a game of it but was never able to climb the mountain.

Devanie Condrack went the distance for MIfflin County striking out seven in the loss.

Despite the loss, the group from Mifflin County ended its season with numerous memories that they left for themselves and their fans.
