Mifflin County 15s stays sizzling; Stops Centre County

Inching closer to a visit to Texas!

The Mifflin County 15-year-old All-Stars moved one step closer to advancing to the Babe Ruth National Championship in Texas with it win over Centre County Saturday morning.

With the win over Centre County it was a little bit of revenge for its State championship contest earlier in the month.

In the end, Mifflin County took the contest 8-4 I. Scranton in the Mid-Atlantic Regionals.

Leading the way offensively for Mifflin County were Aiden Reed and Doug Weaver with two hits each.

Ryan Hine led the way in the RBI department with three while Reed and Weaver finished with two each.

Hine also had a strong day on the mound striking out eight in the contest while going six strong.

Centre County was led by Tyler Serb who had two hits.
