Mifflin County boys fall to Carlisle

The learning process is still in progress. But they are battling to the end.

Though they battled hard, the Mifflin County boys basketball team  fell to a tough Carlisle team 80-55 Friday night in a road contest.

Noah Wright led the Huskies with 12 while teammate Tyler Metz followed with 11.

Conner Cherry just missed hitting double figures, posting nine.

Mifflin County hung tough early on as Carlisle took the first period 21-16.

The Huskies also kept up with Carlisle in the second being outscored by just a 17-14 margin.

However, when the two went into the intermission, Mifflin County trailed 38-30.

A big quarter by Carlisle added to their advantage and almost put the game away, outscoring the Huskies 24-8 in period.

When the dust settled, Carlisle had an 62-38 advantage.

In the final stanza, Carlisle continues to score posting an 18-point performance while Mifflin County picked up only 10 points in the period.
