MIfflin County boys outlasts EJ, 45-41

COCOLAMUS – The MIfflin County boys basketball team picked up its third win of the season Friday night as it topped East Juniata on the road, 45-41.
Sharpshooter Owen Wise paced the Huskies, posting a game-high 20 points.
Wayne Dressler and Tanner Barth led the way for the Tigers as they both finished with 10 points each.
The game started out as a very close contest as both posted 13-points.
MIfflin County continued to grind out the points in the second quarter as the Huskies outscored the Tigers 12-6.
When the two went into the intermission, MIfflin County led 25-19.
The Tigers kept up with the Huskies in the third period but still trailed 10-7 in the quarter.
East Juniata rallied a comeback by outscoring the Huskies 15-10 but it was t enough as MIfflin County held onto the victory, 45-41.
