Mifflin County field hockey is tripped up by Blackhawks

The Mifflin County field hockey team fell in its opening day debut, falling to Susquenita 5-1.

Picking up the lone goal for MIfflin County was Addie Fultz. Fultz hit the shot in the third quarter thanks to an assist from Bailey Neff off of a corner opportunity.

The Blackhawks scored one in the first, two in the second and two in the fourth to take the win.

Susquenita outshot the Huskies 16-7 and led in corners by a 14-7 margin.

Goalkeeper Maddie Norman finished with 11 saves in the loss.
