Mifflin County girls dominate East Pennsboro

ENOLA – They rebounded nicely!
Just a day after losing a close contest to Mechanicsburg, the MIfflin County girls basketball team got well in a hurry topping East Pennsboro 55-24.
Leading the offense on the night was
Bri Bodtorf with a game-high 17 points.
Mya Aumiller followed up with a 14-point effort.
Rounding out the double-digit scorers was Marissa Gingrich with 12.
Mifflin County opened the first quarter outscoring the Panthers by a 19-7 offensive effort.
The offense continued to shine in the second as the Lady Huskies continued to add its lead after an 18-4 stanza.
Going into the intermission, MIfflin County had things in hand at 37-11.
Things continued to go MIfflin County’s way as the outscored East Pennsboro in the second half, 18-13.
In the JV contest, Mifflin County finished the sweep posting a 49-9 win over the Panthers.
Amelia Leister finished as top scorer with 13 while teammate Maelyn Gingrich finished with 10.
