Mifflin County girls dominates Redland

It dominating win for the Lady Huskies.

Tuesday the MIfflin County girls traveled to Redland Tuesday and left no prisoners, leading to a 62-29 victory.

Leading the offensive punch for MIfflin County were Mya Aumiller and Marissa Gingrich who both put in a game high 18 points.

Teammate Brianna Bodtorf rounded out the double-digit scorers with 12.

Mifflin County jumped out to a 15-11 lead after one period of play.

Aumiller paced her team with eight points.

The Huskies continued to grind out the points in the second, taking a convincing 31-17 advantage going into the intermission. Bodtorf led the Huskies with 10 points in the quarter.

In the second half, the Huskies continued its dominance as they outscored the Patriots 31-13.

Mifflin County Swimming results

The MIfflin County Boys swim team fell to Muhlenberg 113-20 and to Hershey 142-14.

On the girls’ side, Muhlenberg topped MIfflin County 146-7 and Hershey 146-7.
