Mifflin County girls fall late to Hollidaysburg

The MIfflin County girls basketball team played it close and almost pulled out the victory Thursday night, falling 57-51 to Hollidaysburg.
Brianna Bodtorf led the offensive charge for the Lady Huskies as she posted a 22-point effort.
Teammate Marissa Gingrich finished in double digits as well, finishing with 12.
Hollidaysburg Marin Miller also posted a 22-point effort in the win. Teammate Allison Hileman finished with 11 to go with Miller’s efforts.
It was a tale of similar scoring throughout the first three quarters as both teams went into the final stanza, with Hollidaysburg taking a 34-31 advantage.
But in the final period, the Eagles outscored the Lady Huskies 23-20 en route to the 6-point victory.
