Mifflin County girls junior high ends season on high note

The Mifflin County junior high girls basketball teams finished the season with a sweep of Mount Nittany on Monday.

The Varsity team earned a hard-fought 36-31 victory. Ava Baker was the high scorer with 11 points. Jacee Cunningham added 10 points and Piper Specht scored six. They finish the season with a 15-7 record.

The JV team defeated Mount Nittany 30-8. Malaina Maxwell led all scorers with 9 points. Mya Felmlee scored seven points and Emily Runkle added six. They end the season with a 16-2 record.
