MIfflin County Lacrosse captures first win in team history

Mifflin County Girls’ Lacrosse made history Saturday as they won their first game in school history and their first ever home game!
Mifflin County struck first then “sealed” the deal over the Seals of Selinsgrove in overtime. 

The defense stuffed and sealed off the 8m keeping the Seals from a shooting attack.   The Huskies held a 3-0 lead going into the half adding 2 goals in the second.  In a nail biter, the lady laxers edged out Selinsgrove with a golden goal at 1:16 into OT!   

Mifflin County spread out the scoring attack getting goals from Sadie Fike, Ella Kammerer, Sammy McCool, and Kashia Smith!   Mifflin County won 6-5 in OT. 

The Huskies are on the road at Rogers Stadium in Bellefonte on Thursday April 1st at 6 p.m.
