MIfflin County loses 1-0 nail biter to West Perry
It was a nail biting Saturday contest when the MIfflin County girls soccer team battled West Perry.
It would be a close one but the Huskies fell 1-0.
In the first, West Perry’s Allison Yoder hit the games only goal at 35:40.
However, the Lady Huskies outshot their opponent 9-3.
The two teams tied in corner opportunities with three each.
MIfflin County goalie Bailey McNitt stopped two while West Perry’s Emily McCurdy had nine.
MC is currently 1-0 in Mid-Penn and 1-1 overall.
The next home game is 9/21 home vs Waynesboro.
There was no JV game.
