Mifflin County soccer falls to Shippensburg
The Mifflin County Boys Soccer Team fell Thursday afternoon to Shippensburg 9-1.
Shippensburg led 6-1 at the intermission.
The Greyhounds outshot the Huskies 16-4.
Mifflin County Jack Suydam finished with seven saves.
Shippensburg won the corners 6-2.
“Kayden Hook made an excellent strike off a Landon Mazur head flick with 23:53 left that made it 3-1, but we needed some consistency with our completion of passes to continue the comeback,” said coach Todd Peters. “We need to focus on what we’ve been talking about and doing in practice and through film.”
“Shippensburg is a good squad so you must make sure you don’t take any plays off, or they will make you pay.”
shippensburg JV’s won 7-0.
