Mifflin County volleyball hosted the Trojans from Hershey this evening for their Gold Out game

 

The JV battled hard but came up just short, losing in three sets (13-25, 25-23, and 13-15). Jovi Bush led the Huskies with four kills and nine digs. Briah Moore had a team high eleven digs along with a strong serve receive effort. Ashland Mazur added two aces.

 

The Varsity fell in four sets (14-25, 21-25, 26-24, and 16-25). Kate Hartzler and Ella Hartzler led the Huskies offensively with eight and seven kills respectively. Adisyn Lyles had nine assists, three kills, six digs and an ace in the effort while Lily Curry chipped in five assists, eight digs and two aces. Defensively the Huskies were led by Emily Porch with a team high fifteen digs to go along with her four aces. Rylie Kahley also put in a solid defensive effort adding twelve digs.  

 

The Huskies will be on the road next week, traveling to Mount Union on Monday.
