LOCK HAVEN – After falling behind 5-0 early against the Central Mountain Wildcats, the MIfflin County baseball team rallied back to post an 8-run fourth inning and held on late for the 8-7 victory Monday.

The Wildcats scored two runs in the first and three in the second while holding the Huskies offense scoreless.

However, the tide turned in the fourth.

Cole Knable picked up the win while Bodtorf picked up the save.

Other players picking up hits in the contest for the “Purple and Black Attack” were Jaxson Pupo, Bryce Dobson and Tyler Hunter. Pupo had the only extra base hit as he ripped a double.

Notching RBIs on the afternoon were Pupo, Bodtorf, Dobson and Rylan Bailey.

Defensively, the MIfflin County defense kept the lead for good, just allowing two runs in the final five innings in the 1-run victory.
