Millersburg outlasts Juniata basketball

The Juniata boys basketball fell Monday evening in a TVAA contest against Millersburg 50-42.

Jasper Shepps and Bryce Rush finished with nine points each to lead the way for Juniata.

Ebel Gonzalez followed up with eight for the Indians.

Millersburg was led by Waylon Troutman and Nic Lapone with 14.

Millersburg opened the contest, going on a 12-5 advantage.

In the second, the two battled toe-to-toe as Millersburg held an 11-10 advantage over Juniata.

Going into the intermission, Millersburg led 33-15.

In the second half, both teams stalemated, both scoring 17, giving Millersburg the win.
