Philipsburg-Osceola ‘s Isaac Knepp and Micah Martin celebrated after Knepp’s game winning RBI in the 10th inning against a very scrappy Chestnut Ridge team in the opening round of the District 6 playoffs.
Mounties’ hurler Josh Earnest went nineinnings for P-O. He gave up no earned runs and got a no decision for the game. The Mounties won in the 10th on a single to right by Isaac Knepp to score Caleb Belinda.
Logan Williamson rounded 3rd to score the tying run in the 7th inning on a double by Josh Earnest, sending the game into extras.
