Neimond lands 100th career goal; EJ girls tops Halifax

East Juniata 6, Halifax 0

East Juniata Girls soccer team were back at it Wednesday afternoon as they defeated Halifax 6-0 in Tri-Valley action.

Kierstyn Fogle got the game started with an unassisted goal at 9:22.

Marin Varner followed up as she was assisted by Thea Neimond 10:29.

Fogle notched the Tigers third goal of the day assisted by Thea Neimond at 13:48.

Neimond put her name in the scorebook on an unassisted goal at 14:30.

Fogle captures the hat trick when she blasted a goal off an assist by Clarye Guyer at 34:10.

Neimond, put her name in the EJ history books when she notched her 100th Career Goal of an assist by Marin Varner at 66:26.

East Juniata posted 24 shot on goal.

They also posted 11 Corner Kicks.

East Juniata keeper Brianna Henry had two saves.

“We are very proud of Thea Neimond getting her 100th goal. The team was hyped and couldn’t wait to congratulations her,” said Valeria Dressler. “We worked at seeing the whole field better. Good game overall.”

East Juniata’s Overall record is 14-0-0 while its 10-0 in TVL action.

 Next game- Saturday, October 5th, 2019against Southern Columbia.
