Nittany Valley Majors All-Stars 12U Defeats Huntingdon Softball All-Stars 2024 On Multiple Hit Performance By Saige Moore

Saige Moore collected three hits in three at bats, as the Nittany Valley Majors All-Stars 12Us defeated Huntingdon Softball All-Stars 2024 12-1 on Friday.

Moore singled in the fourth inning, singled in the first inning, and singled in the third inning.

Nittany Valley scored seven runs in the fourth inning on the way to victory. Addie Emery tripled, scoring one run, Harper Bair singled, scoring two runs, Saige singled, scoring one run, Nora Brown singled, scoring one run, and Lainey Sherman doubled, scoring two runs.

Nittany Valley were the first to get on the board in the first when Nora grounded out, scoring one run.

A walk by Brown, a wild pitch, and a double by Grace Ammerman helped the home team extend their early lead in the third.

Huntingdon hit a solo home run to right field in the top of the fourth.

Harper earned the win for Nittany Valley. The starting pitcher allowed two hits and one run over four innings, striking out seven and walking none.

“The Red and Blue” tallied 14 hits in the game. Brown , Sherman, and Ammerman each drove in two runs for Nittany Valley. Lily P, Avery S, and Harper each collected multiple hits for 2024 NVLL Majors All-Stars 12U. Saige and Macie F each stole multiple bases for 2024 NVLL Majors All-Stars 12U. 2024 NVLL Majors All-Stars 12U stole six bases in the game.
