Oden finishes 14th at Tim Cook Memorial

In JV cross country action Mifflin County’s Styers Oden continues to race well for the Huskies. At the Tim Cook Memorial 5k Race on Saturday Oden place 14th in the freshmen division .  A medal is awarded to the top 15 in each grade.  Overall, Oden placed 40th out of 155 with a time of 19:48.  Cameron Philpott finished in 23:41, good for 121st.
“Our freshmen continue to race well. Their race was moved up an hour and we found out about the change 15 minutes before the start. Then the rain started.  Both freshmen turned in good performances despite the adversity.”
