Opening Day Just Four Weeks Away At Clinton County Motor Speedway

Lock Haven, PA- The first green flag  racing is just four weeks away at Clinton County Motor Speedway.

 

Promoter Sam Ray has the 3/8th mile high banked oval groomed with fresh clay for opening night activities. Lap records are expected to fall during early season action.

 

Racers have a chance to dial their cars in Friday April 5 during a practice session which will be held under the lights.

 

Opening night is Friday April 12 at 7:30 p.m. Five divisions of racing  take to the track opening night. The limited late models headline the program. They’re joined by the IMCA sprint cars, who have 16 race dates at the track this year. In addition, the pro stocks, 600 & 270 micro sprints complete the lineup.

 

April 19th the same divisions return to the track.

 

April 26 the four cylinder front wheel drive stock cars make their first appearance joined by the limited late models, IMCA sprint cars, pro stocks and 270 micro sprints. The evening’s event serves as a final tune up for the limited late models. The high powered stock cars open the month of May with the Lenny Stroud Memorial Championship race held over from last season.

Gates open at 5 p.m. with warm-ups set for 7 each night.
