Both defenses started to dig in their heels and battled to keep the other of the board.

With the goalie being unable to recover to the ball, Leigha Schrader slid at the ball and cleared it out from the goal area.

The Lady Rams speed put them in numerous breakaway opportunities but Addyson Manning stopped the breaks numerous times, cutting down the easy look at the goal.

With 13.45 left in the first, the Lady Rams broke through for the second time, Lovallo blasted one in from the middle of the field, making it a 2-1 contest.

In the second, the defenses were locked in and so were the goalies as neither team was able to sneak one past the other.
