Penns Valley boys lose nail biter to Huntingdon

The Penns Valley boys lost a heartbreaker to Huntingdon Wednesday night in overtime, 74-71.
Things started well for the Rams as they outscored the Bearcats 30-21 in the first half.
However, the second half belonged to Huntingdon as they rallied to take the third and fourth periods 33-24, sending the game into overtime.
In the overtime period, both teams lit up the scoreboard with the Bearcats finishing with a 20- point period while the Rams rallied for 17.
Zach Braucht led the offensive punch for Penns Valley as he finished with a 24-point effort.
Jackson Romig and Aidan Culver both notched 11.
Rounding out the double-digit scorers was Logan Crater with 10.
Huntingdon’s charge was brought by Alec Cooper who exploded for 36 points while teammate Josh Bryson had 28.
