Penns Valley boys soccer team blanks Tyrone
On Tuesday, the Penns Valley boys soccer team traveled to Tyrone.
The Rams goals were fast and furious, winning 6-0.
Penns Valley notched its first goal when Cayden Merrill picked up a pass from Kyle Long at 25:21.
Next, teammate George Marshall – got his name in the scorebook as he scored off an assist from Ethan Narber at 37:21.
Narber notched a goal of his own scoring on an unassisted goal at 51:30.
In the second half, Merrill scored goal number two thanks to another Narber assist at 54:16.
Later in the second, Max King scored off a Keyton Gurner pass at 63:36.
Rounding out the Rams’ goals was Aidan Korman off a pass from Chase Fleshman at 75:35.
Penns Valley led in shots on goal by a 21-4 margin.
The Rams goalie Gavin Robb tallied four saves while Tyrone’s Devon Nardelli had 10.
With the win Penns Valley improves to 8-2-2.
