Penns Valley drops Juniata in close 9-7 contest

The Juniata baseball team took a tough loss Monday as they battled hard but fell to Penns Valley.

Penns Valley used a 6-2 run advantage in the first three innings to help catapult the Rams to the 9-7 victory.

McClain Welshans took the victory for Penns Valley while Dawson Harper took the loss.

Juniata’s Dawson Harper led his team offensively with a 2-for-4 effort.

Penns Valley got multiple hits from Hayden Houser 3-for-5, John Meyer 2-for-4, Owen Miller 3-for-4 and Miles Brooks 2-for-4.
