Penns Valley girls fall to Central
It was a tough night on the hardwood for the Penns Valley Lady Rams as they fell to Central 53-40.
Despite the loss, Hannah Montminy high scorer with 18. Lydia Collison second-leading scorer with nine.Hannah Montminy now sits 53 points away from 1,000 career points.
The Red Dragons got off to a strong start as they were able to pull out ahead after one, 11-7.
They continued that momentum in the second half as they posted 17 while the Lady Rams has 12, giving the Dragons a 28-19 advantage.
After the half, Penns Valley rallied back to cut into the lead, posting a 11-6 period.
But that would be the only run the Rams would get the rest of the way as Central went onto the 13-point victory.
