Penns Valley uses 22-2 first period to top Saint Joseph’s Academy

The Penns Valley boys basketball team finished the workweek in grand fashion as they topped Saint Joseph’s Academy 50-26 Friday afternoon.
Leading the way offensively was Zach Braucht with a game-high 20 points. For Braucht it added to his milestone of 1,000-point that he captured yesterday.
The Wolves were led by Tim Peters with a 10-point effort.
It would be the Rams that would take command early as they outscored Saint Joseph’s 22-2.
From there Penns Valley defense clamped down allowing only 24 in the final three quarters.
