PO girls fall to MoValley in hardwood action
It was a tough night on the hardwood for the Philipsburg-Osceola girls basketball team Wednesday as they fell to Mo Valley, 40-26.
Olivia Hutton led the offense for the Mounties with nine.
Mo Valley was led by Sydney Bubb’s game-high 20-point effort.
In the first, both teams battled for a 10-10 stalemate.
Mo Valley rallied ahead in the second as its defense held PO to four while its offense finished with nine.
Going into the intermission, Moshannon Valley led 19-14.
Things started to extend Mo Valley’s lead in third, posting a 13-7 advantage.
The Mounties battled hard I the final period but it wasn’t enough to complete the comeback.
