PO girls takes Taylor Harpster Memorial Tip-Off Tournament

Off to a fast start!
The Philipsburg-Osceola girls basketball team got its season off and running in a huge way as they captured the 1st Annual Taylor Harpster Memorial Tip-off Tournament by defeating Moshannon Valley Friday and Curwensville Saturday to win it.
In their opener, the Mounties topped Mo Valley 33-19.
Leading the way offensively for the Mounties was Khendyl Sharrer with 15-point effort.
In their contest against Curwensville, Lily Warlow led things with 16-point showing en route to the 27-25 nail biter.
Winning the Tournament MVP was Philipsburg-Osceola’s Khendyl Sharrer (PO), Tournament Offensive MVP was won by Lily Warlow (PO)
and Tournament Defensive MVP was Alyssa Bakaysa (Curwensville).
