The Mifflin County Huskies 1-2 will Travel to Hershey Park Stadium to take on the 2-1 Hershey Spartans kickoff slated for 7:00 pm.

Mifflin County comes into this game searching for their first league conference win sitting at 0-2. Hershey is 1-1 in their league conference with wins against Milton Hershey and Palmyra.

Mifflin County’s only win came in week one against Central Mountain. The Huskies have lost two straight falling to Northern York 41-34 in double overtime Mifflin County fell to a good Mechanicsburg team in their home opener last week 40-6.

The Spartans love to run the football that will be key for them in this game Hershey is favored in the running game rushing for 102.7 yards a game.

Mifflin County rushing yards a game sits at 33.7. The Huskies running game has been a missing part to the puzzle so far this season with three games already in. Senior Brice Rishel is the lead back for Mifflin County.

Huskies are big up front. Can they stop the Spartans rushing attack ?

Huskies key players that will have to get the job done are Hunter Tipton and Peyton Kearns those are the two key players upfront for Mifflin County. Avery Aurand on the edge is a guy that can help out in stopping the run game star tacklers Harrison Bulick, Gavin Herrington ,Haigh and Adan Daubert have contributed to this defense in big ways despite the team’s struggles.

Can the Huskies play the weak passing attack well in hopes to stun Hershey at home.

The Spartans quarterback Cameron Sweeney doesn’t average well when it comes to the passing game.Sweeney only average 63.3 yards per game that will be a weak spot in this game.Mifflin County is average when it comes to the passing game the offense in the passing game average 166.3 yards a game with two quarterbacks Mifflin County rely on Fletcher Wilson and Chase Hartung.

Mifflin County was limited in the air last week against Mechanicsburg. Landon Haigh led in yards with 72 on three receptions. Joel Beamer was second in yards totaling 33 on three receptions.

Mifflin County are expected to get Dupree Reed back this week that will be another key piece to this offense to help spark things to an offense that has really struggled to get much going the past two weeks.

The Huskies let a 27-7 lead slip away from them against Northern in week 2 Mifflin County can’t let that happen Mifflin County couldn’t regroup in the teams home opener loss against Mechanicsburg. Mifflin County is very familiar with Hershey Mifflin County and their fans will try to avoid a three game losing streak in a game that things aren’t going to be easy.

The Spartans must do both to succeed in this game. RUN and PASS efficiently, mostly passing the ball needs to improve.

Hershey last week in their 34-13 win over Palmyra the passing game was dismal; it will need to be better in this game.

The Huskies have to get better in the running game.

Mifflin County needs to be better in the passing game too.

Mifflin County come into this game hoping to end a two game losing streak. Hershey is looking to make it three wins on the season something Mifflin County has yet to conquer this year.You would think Mifflin County would be tired of losing will this be their game to turn things around in a game where nothing will be handed to them.The Spartans are big up front with a Huskies defense that can make plays but don’t match their opponents size.Hershey will make the plays they need to come away with a victory. Mifflin County has had a tough season i think it continues with a offense that has had their struggles each week it continues to loom larger give me Hershey to win this game 24-14
