Rivals tie; East Juniata and Juniata tie in 2OT

In the battle of Juniata County. The East Juniata boys soccer team tied Juniata in the Varsity contest 1-1 after a double OT. EJ outshot Juniata 19-12. The Tigers had 14 corner kicks and the Indians had 12. Mike Ryan had 11 saves for EJ. Adam Finkbiner scored the lone goal for EJ. Tad Shellenberger scored for Juniata.
In junior varsity action the EJ JVs won 4-0. Goals were scored by Colby Breeding on an assist by Navarre Sims. Gannon Ryan scored 2 goals. One was assisted by Mitchell Watts and the other assisted by Jadyn Martin. Jadyn Martin scored on an assist from Gannon Ryan.
