Season ends for MC girls golfers

The Mifflin County girls golfers competed today at Winder Country Club for the District 6 AAA Championships. In order to advance to the state tournament, you had to win the district championship. Unfortunately, neither Lily Breon, or Emma Norman finished 1st. However, the day was still a success. Emma Norman shot a score of 102, which placed in a tie for 10th place. Her first career top 10 finish. Lily Breon shot a score of 115, which placed 16th. It was a very windy day, and made for difficult playing conditions today. Both girls finished their season on a respectable note.
