Senior Spotlight: Bellefonte trackster Katherine Uchneat

Katherine Uchneat is our senior to be honored today. Katherine has been competing in track and field since eighth grade where she has been a hurdler and pole vaulter.

Katherine was the recipient of the Girls’ Team Academic Excellence Award in 2019 and after graduating from Bellefonte, she plans to continue her academic career at Penn State where she will be studying Architecture.
Her favorite memory during her track and field career occurred during her freshman season at the Altoona meet.
In addition to succeeding in academics and track and field, Katherine is also musically talented as she plays the cello, piano, guitar, and sings in her church youth group. She also makes a lot of art projects and attends craft fairs throughout the region selling her art products.

If Katherine has a spare moment to relax and watch something her preferred show is none other than The Office.
Katherine we are proud of all you have accomplished, both on the track and in the classroom!
