Shippensburg holds onto to 3-0 win over MC

It was a tough night for the MIfflin County girls soccer team was shut out 3-0 against Shippensburg.

Taylor Bard finished with two goals in the contest. Ella Reed had the other Shippensburg goal.

Notching assists were Bard, Reed and Nadia Blount.

Shippensburg out shot the Huskies 12-3 and in corner opportunities 6-1.

Mifflin County goalie Liberty Cook finished with nine saves while Shippensburg’s keeper Julia Rhodes finished with three.

In JV action, Shippensburg won a thrilling 3-2 contest.
