SPECIAL OLYMPICS PENNSYLVANIA TO HOST THE SOUTHERN WILDS LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP AT PHILIPSBURG OSCEOLA HIGH SCHOOL.

More than 60 bocce players will compete from five local districts and will compete for on February 26th, 2025.
Special Olympics Pennsylvania – Wilds Region is hosting The Southern Wilds
League Championship on Wednesday February 26th at 4:00 PM.
More than 60
students from Centre, Clearfield, and Elk Counties to compete in Interscholastic
Indoor Unified Bocce Southern Wilds League Championship.
The competing schools include:
– Bald Eagle
– Clearfield
– Dubois
– St Marys
– State College
WHEN: Wednesday February 26th at 4:00pm.
WHERE: Philipsburg Osceola High School – 502 Philips St, Philipsburg, PA 16866
WHO: Student Athletes and coaches from above listed schools, School Administration,
Special Olympics Wilds Region staff. This event is free and open to the public.
WHY: The Unified Champion Schools program is aimed to promote social inclusion
` through sports, clubs and whole school engagement.
